This pottery comes from the high plateau country of the West, where the desert and the mountains meet. The Native American artists, who sign each piece, combine their natural artistic talents with the inspiration of their culture and the breathtaking beauty of their homeland. All pieces of pottery are painted and etched by Navajo or Ute artists, who sign each piece. Some artists have been instrumental in creating new pottery lines. Artists are free to use individual expression within the limits of the pottery line they are painting. Internally glazed pieces will hold water, however not all pieces are glazed. Exterior surfaces may be dusted and cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use strong abrasives or cleaners. 4" X 2"
